ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our team. We offer an exciting opportunity to work in a fascinating field, serving customers worldwide across industries such as healthcare, telecommunications, and sensing.
Depending on your interests, the internship can focus on either application-oriented or development-oriented projects. You’ll learn about photonics and semiconductors while learning what it takes to develop advanced technical software for these rapidly growing industries.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on a well-defined topic based on your own interests. (Topics can range from product development to working on application examples or building models.)

Take ownership of your work, while regularly discussing your progress and decisions with the team.

Luceda Photonics is a leading European company in innovative photonic design software solutions, enabling engineers and researchers to design, simulate, and optimize photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Work in a fascinating field, with customers from all over the world and applications ranging from health care to telecom, sensing, lidar, quantum computing and many others.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Looking to do an internship for at least six weeks.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a team.
- Experience in programming, preferably in Python or C++.
