Getting started with PIC design in IPKISS

Are you new to photonic integrated circuits (PIC) design? No worries!

In this hands-on training, we will guide you through a learning journey, starting from the basic concepts all the way to component and circuit design. You will be introduced to IPKISS features, such as

  • creating parametric components and circuits,

  • creating a tight link between layout and simulation right from the start,

  • using waveguide connectors and IPKISS' Circuit class to define circuits intuitively.
