Luceda Photonics and Wave Photonics are proud to announce that Wave Photonics’ libraries are now fully integrated and compatible with the Luceda Photonics Design Platform. This integration provides Luceda users with seamless access to a broad portfolio of advanced photonic components from Wave Photonics.


Luceda users can now access Wave Photonics’ libraries, bringing thousands of components covering over 33 discrete wavelengths between 493 nm and 1550 nm. These include specialized libraries like the SiNQ library, tailored for quantum technologies including trapped ions and atoms, quantum dots, NV centers, and other emerging quantum systems. Luceda users can also benefit from Wave Photonics’ telecom libraries, which support multiple wavelength ranges such as the O-band, E-band, S-band, C-band, L-band, and U-band.


The Luceda Photonics Design Platform is an ideal platform for creating and distributing libraries using the central management of layout, fabrication-aware modeling, and verification. The libraries of Wave Photonics take advantage of those features and thus include fabrication-aware scattering parameters (S-parameters), enabling circuit-level simulation and yield analysis. When used within Luceda IPKISS, Wave Photonics' libraries can accelerate the development cycle from concept to chip tape-out by reducing the need for custom component design.
