Application Engineer - Luceda Academy Coordinator (BE)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

The core responsibility of this role is to take ownership of our customers’ journey through our software, and therefore of our training platform, Luceda Academy. This entails several different skills:

1. Strategic vision:
2. • Collaborating closely with our Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager to translate our product roadmap and product marketing strategy into a coherent story and actionable plans for Luceda Academy.
   • Managing stakeholders across various functions, including customers, sales, marketing, and development.
     
3. Operational coordination:
4. • Organizing, prioritizing, and ensuring timely implementation of examples and tutorials. 
   • Collaborating with the development team to ensure new software features are well documented with relevant examples.
     
5. Content implementation:
6. • Creating and implementing examples, tutorials and educational content within Luceda Academy.
   • Reviewing and supporting the work of other team members.
   • Working with experts in the field (inside and outside Luceda) to produce high quality in-depth application-based tutorials.
     
7. Customer training and support:
8. • Delivering training sessions to our customers, ensuring they maximize the benefits of our software and learning from their experience.
   • Providing exceptional support through our helpdesk.
   • Continuously learning from customer needs through training and support to identify improvement points for Luceda Academy.

In this role, you will work with:

• Our Product Marketing Manager, Chiara Alessandri

• Luceda’s application engineering and development teams 
  
• Our ecosystem partners and our partners in European projects

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in electrical engineering, photonics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of work experience in a field related to integrated photonics.
• Hands-on mentality with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving successful outcomes.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively independently.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python) and passion for coding.

It's a plus if you also have the following qualifications:

• Familiarity with photonic design tools or related software.
• Experience in creating digital learning paths. 
• Previous experience in copywriting English text.
• Prior experience in a high-tech and international work environment.
