CMC Passive PIC Design Course 2021
Luceda Photonics

CMC and SiEPIC offer a Passive Silicon Photonics Design Course, aimed at students who are eager to learn how to design, fabricate and test photonic integrated circuits. At the end of the course, participants will be able to submit their design for fabrication to AMF (click here to discover more about the IPKISS PDK for AMF).

Join the Luceda team to learn how the IPKISS Photonics Design Platform can help you achieving successful manufacturable PIC designs.

IPKISS session: info and advance preparation

The IPKISS session of the course will take place on 2 November 2021 and it will introduce you to the IPKISS Photonics Design Platform and the IPKISS AWG Designer. You will be provided with an IPKISS evaluation license and access to the Luceda Academy training material.

The training will focus on designing an Arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) demultiplexer using the IPKISS PDK for AMF. You will have access to the example prepared by our Luceda experts and will have the freedom of exploring the tutorial, customize the design to your needs and prepare for tape-out with AMF in your own time.

To make the best out of the IPKISS training, we ask you to follow these installation instructions in advance of the training.
